yes, janice, there was bellydancing. hips wiggling, breasts thrusting, womanhood being celebrated like it was nobody's business. boo-yah.

i was proofreading kelly's writer's craft story, and i must say, it put me to shame. i mean, hell, is there anything she CAN'T do? she paints, she draws, she's a master of the medium of skin... and now she writes too? it was an amazing story, and, if someone will remind me to tell her, i have to get her to show it to max, just as testament to her skill.

i'm looking forward to getting this week over with. my weekend is plan-free (i actually did homework on a friday night... gasp! shock!). i have a bunch of tests and nothing else spectacular about this next week... until vit leaves on the 19th! yay! ::: happy-happy dance of freedom :::

but you know what stupid thing i was thinking? there's that whole "you-can't-write-what-you-don't-know" thing. and i've noticed all i seem to be able to write about is love and angst. and i had, not for the first time, the thought that i ought to try drugs, once or twice, just so i could explore that new area.

oh, one more thing:
I HAVE SEEN JESUS!
i realize such a proclamation might scare away both christians and non-christians from body, but the way i figure, if you're so easily scared, you have no business at body anyway.
now, as you may recall, i have a laptop computer (a beautiful acer travelmate 514) named jesus.
the other night, i'm in my dad's room.
"hey dad, what's this thing glowing on the floor.... OH MY GOD!! IT'S JESUS!"

in the past few days, we're transferred all of the files from jesus to the computer in vit's room (it's a rickety old think, so ancient it doens't even have a USB port, and with no image editing possibilities at all, due to the crappy monitor). and i am much happier. i've been sleeping fantastically.

speaking of sleep, i did have an unusual dream last night.
i've had this dream before.
i'm a guy at some sort of military ski resort. towards the end of the dream, a hoard of men come at me, trying to kill me. i take them down, one-by-one, including one who appreared to be a 12-year-old skater. the second last guy comes at me. he grabs my arms, and i see, behind him, this huge, bald, deformed man, with a knife. i force myself around, and pull the guy holding me behind me, until i hit a wall. the deformed man was coming to stab me, but my move forced him to stab his own comrade. i push both of them to the floor. then, i get my gun, and shoot the deformed man in the head, several times. blood sprays like a small fountain. i shoot him over and over, to make sure he is dead. i wake up.

i wish i could do that in real life.
