well, since both utah and jon crosby are talking about it, i may as well mention my opinions about this war.
it's not that i'm anti-war (though i'm that too. i've watched tanks roll down the boulevard of the revolution, and i felt my teeth rattle, and i know how it feels to be afraid that way), but it's that i don't like these covert, secret tactics, this underhanded, sneeky way of doing things.
what did bush think he was doing, encouraging the UN? what does bush think he's doing, still trying to play this off as being about weapons or terrorism? why are army people trying to tell me they are trying to minimalize civilian casualties when they're not?
this is about one thing: oil, oil, oil.

i hate the secrets and lies about it. and of course, i understand they are necessary: you don't become the richest country in the world by paying fair prices for foreign oil. but i hate it none the less.

on an unrelated note, i have one bit of advice for everyone: know what you believe before acting on it.
