In addition to the oodles of Thanksgiving pics already up, I've added a few.
So last night I'm leaving the AC after yoga class, when I notice all of the different campus newspapers in stands by the door. I realize that it's the middle of the month, and I haven't read the Toike yet! So I picked one up, and joy immediately followed.
You can read the issue online, because they're engineers, they're hip to the internet.
I desperately need to share something out of this month's issue. Taken from The Toike Oike, Vol XCIX - Issue 2, October 2005 - Page 3, from the News Briefs Section:
Marriage Already Gay
MIT researchers have concluded that the gay marriage issue that has dominated politics in recent years is a non-starter since all forms of marriage are technically "gay" already. Scientist, Ed Barnike, commented, "OK, yes there is a man and a woman, but all the flowers!? C'mon. Then you sit around in fancy clothes and eat cake and drink champagne and everyone talks about how much they care for one another!? I don't care how damn hot she is, clearly the institution of marriage has been gay for centuries." The researchers have also discovered that the theory of relativity may cease to apply if more than 10 metrosexuals attend the same funeral.
