Yesterday, some bad things happened.

First, even though we have Internet access at home, it is crappy. In fact, it is crappier than I remembered it to be, because I was unable to listen to Radio Goethe: Every time I started, the stupid thing lost the connection. Arg.

Then, I was all psyched because yesterday was the first Tuesday since getting cable again - which meant House! 9 o'clock came and went. The TV Guide channel insisted that it should be on. The Global TV website insisted it should be on. But it was not.

Then today, some good things happened.

I was woken by the thunderstorm at about 6 a.m. I could hear Darian pacing around, anxious, so I let him in my room and got some nice snuggles with my kitty.

Then, I wore a short skirt to class, and the physics boys seemed to like it. This put me in a rather good mood.

And just now, I discovered the video for Eisbrecher's Vergissmeinnight is online (and can be seen here or here in the Musik section). As soon as I'm at a computer where I can both listen to sound and watch video, this will be very sweet.

It is important to appreciate the little things in life.
