no one is a bigger advocate of the "the bad stuff now just makes you appreciate the good stuff later" philosophy than i am. just ask irene. in every other situation in life that's how i feel. but not relationships. well, i still know it in my mind to be true. but in my heart i wish it weren't. i've had enough shit in my life when it comes to other people. i just want my relationships to be stable and happy.

actually, irene herself quoted me when we were chatting last night. she and i were talking about how everyone has a One True Love (what you might call Punk Charming). she reminded me how i believe that eveyone has someone for them, somewhere out there. and that if you sincerly want to find them, you will. but if you settle for less, you've already given up on finding them.
wow, between all that and "the bad stuff now just makes you appreciate the good stuff later," i'm a pretty damn insightul kid. ^_^ now if only i can remember these things in times of need...
