what a strange day... and it's only 9:30!
i woke up of my own volition at about 6:30. that's never a good sign. if i can't sleep, it means i'm either sick or stressed. come to think of it, i was quite tired last night, and went to bed rather early. that's another sick/stressed indicator.

i got out of bed at 7, and was shocked to find the sun wasn't out yet. so what could i do? i was alone in the dark. so i went online and started watching cartoons on homestarrunner.com and illwillpress.com. all in all, that felt rather productive. now, rather than start the house cleaning that i've been putting off, i've decided to blog and watch the murray show - the classiest of the tasteless talk shows! on murray, no one ain't anybody's daddy!

at 1 o'clock today, vit and i have an appointment with some lady who's gonna talk to us and begin the process of introducing us to my sister. i think it's strange. i used to love anne, but let's be frank, when i knew her she was a baby, not a person. now, she's grown up and she has a personality. and to me, she's just a 6-year-old girl whom i don't know at all.
i wonder if anne and i will ever be close. despite not feeling any connection to her, i'd like to be there for her when she gets older and needs advice. i would like to have a normal relationship with her.
it's really scary. but i guess this will all work out on its own.

on a happier note, Xmas break is finally here! hopefully the next month will be full of relaxation - finally!

for those of you who are curious about my algebra final - just as i predicted. now, if the markers are generous and give me part marks for all the crap i spewed, and if i guessed all the multiple choice right, then i could make it. this, of course, will not happen. no one guesses the multiple choice right, and the markers are not generous.
but remember, this is my happier note! this whole thing made me realize that i have been horribly unresponcible, immature, and have not done as much as i should have. i've been sliding along in calss - and distressing as it is to fail my first subject ever, it's better that this happen now, rather than in april. now at least there's still time to straighten up and fly right.
