yay! i so rarley post up-beat stuff (which is odd, since i'm usually a very up-beat person), so this is a nice change.

the university fair was held today. for those who don't know, all the universities in ontario have booths and info sessions at the convention centre downtown every year. i went with addy, and it was great. ^_^ the onle show we attended was for york, but we also talked to people at queen's, guelph, trent, and york, among others. those four are the ones that look most interestin to me, especially trent.
we met sarah there, and it was nice.

after we got home, i had dinner, then went back over to addy's to help him with his calc work. of course, when friends study, nothing gets done. we soon took a break which got very extended (took us 3.5 hours to do 5 questions!). we talked at best friends do, and it was fabulous!
it's so rare and beautful to find someone whith whom you click so totally, and i felt to happy to get to celebrate that.

by the way, todd good work! i like the layout loads! can hardly tell the management changed ^_^

jeez, i'm so tired. and when i'm tired, i'm off. and then people bitch at me for not being myself. as if "myself" were a push-button cookie-cutter pile of insanity.
i shall now nap.

so vit comes home, and i've just made some dinner. he doesn't eat the stuff i've made, but has only leftovers from yesterday. but midway through dinner he starts kidding about the people on the soaps. so i'm thinking ah, he's getting over it, things are ok-ish. he even lets me do the dishes ( :p ).
we sit down watching t.v., and it's not so uncomfertable any more.
then, he points at a large woman on one of the soaps, and says "that's how fat your mother is."
this is not one of those things i can respond to without saying something, er, rude, so i say nothing. a minute later, after getting no responce, he says "and that's how fat you'll be if you don't join the soccer or basketball team."
because, of course, karate is not a real sport. i again say nothing. when getting still no responce out of me, he asks
"so what, are you now not talking to me?"
"what sort of answer can i give to those sort of questions?"

things go on well. i go to my room do work. as he's passing by, he pokes his head in and says "do you think just because you did the dishes for me now things are fine again?"
he's going out of his way to tell me that things are not fine.

i know i'm not the only one who gets this sort of things at home. i have loads of friends who have either verbally or physically abusive households. but it doesn't make it any better. so i don't get beaten very often. it's still awful.
i've even gotten to the point where i don't want to go home. never had that feeling before. i could always at least rest at home. now i can hardly sit down, because i'm constantly thinking "when's he coming home? what's he gonna say? is he going out? how long?"

just when i thought things were getting better, now vit is having a hissy fit. it'll pass in a few days, but in the meantime it's not fun for me. he's not speaking much to me. he's in one oh those phases where he makes a big deal of how much he wants nothing from me by doing little things like washing the dishes he eats off of (not the same as washing the dishes, mind you. because i do mine and he does his, you see? thus, we are symbolically not even living tougether. except for the tension in the air).

i'm hating the tension. and i can't do much about it. during the week i on;y leave the house to go to karate. and weekends i somehow end up around the house a lot too. well, saturday there is a universities fair, and i'll try to avoid coming home afterwards.

and i'm not liking how short the days are getting. 7-7:30 sunset. oh! yesterday was the equanox. i had my little prayer thing for the occasion. i love having the idols of vishnu and lakshmi on my windowsill; i pray more often now.
