My exams are now behind me. Woot! That really wasn't so bad after all, and I credit my (probably) good results to stressing out beforehand. Nothing shows you care like stress.

Some Important Dates:

December 21 - Hanging out with Max and Josh (and anyone else whom I can get last-minute)
Thursday, December 22 - I leave for the motherland.
January 5 - I return.
January 9 - Classes resume.
January 18 - I turn 21.

And a Happy Solstice to all.

My hands are totally covered in paper cuts, and I never even noticed them being inflicted.
I hope those voters appreciate my hard work.

Exams tomorrow... Stress.

So yesterday I did eight hours of work at Elections Canada, sticking stickers onto the Voter Information Cards. Tedious work, but it was made quite pleasant by Sean, Tanya and her brother, who kept up a delightful banter of fascist politics and Simpsons trivia.

After work, Greg, Sean and I went to the Jack Astor's at Front and Bay. The moment we came in, I overheard somebody say "Brad Pitt is here!" I assumed this was crazy-talk, and we got a seat. A few moments later, our waitress arrived and said "Brad Pitt is here! I can't say which one he is, but he's got a lot of hair." We eagerly looked around, and I spotted him across the room, but he had sunglasses on and, as the waitress had said, a lot of hair. I couldn't be sure.
Our waitress came back and said, no, it was not him, it was actually a very famous Brad Pitt impersonator. Which was odd, she said, because he had arrived in a limo with police escort.
Sean, Greg and I all made deliberate treks past the table in question: it sure looked liek him. At one point, we noticed some girls at the table, talking to "Mr. Pitt" and getting his autograph. Finally, our waitress decided she was going to go up to him and ask. In the end, she was still unsure.
None of us are really sure if it was him or not, but even if it was an impersonator, it was still the most star-studded night of my life. Which, living in Toronto, is kind of pathetic.

Also, the Leafs lost to Ottawa spectacularly last night, for which I take full credit, since I am their bad-luck charm. They even lost the fist-fights on the ice!
