i got off my ass and went out today ::: dances and shakes that locomoting ass :::
miranda and mitul and i went to square one today. we shopped, and i got max his holiday gift ::: wink wink ::: and i got a little comething for mina for when she arrives in toronto (JANUARY 8!), and i bought myself some kickin' jeans. we also collectivley bought a disposable camera.

see, we found this store called "norma reeds," where they sold all these over the top dresses. they were poofy and pink and the stuff barbie dolls would wear. and we wanted to try them on and take pictures.well, we get the camera and go back to norma reeds... and i try on this puff of a dress, and all the while i'm hearing the sales lady going on about us. when we take the pics she had a small fit. they treat us so rudley, and it was very dissapointing. we'll certainly no to there for our formal dress needs....

so we have some lunch and at some point decide we should dye out hair. and so it was....
so now my hair is black (with some brown streaks) and miranda looks like shakira with short hair, and mitul is slightly red, and it's cool. ^_^ i KNEW there were advantages to my dad being out of town.

so now i'm mellowing out with the chinese food we also got, and enjoying how wonderful it is to wake up every morning and be vega janic.

you know what pisses me off?
last year, in psychology, we discussed "what is love?" we treated it as if there was one certain, clinical answer.
just now, on a health site, i see the same qestion.

it's a philosophical question, not a medical or phychological one! and i want the world to stop trying to endoctrinate everyone with any one opinion!

the morning after
my winter hoedown was yesterday. and, i'm told it was pretty decent.

now, i am in a rather depressed mood, so i'll spoint out that everyone told me the party was good, meaning it was crap, because when a party if good no one feels the need to point it out. they all just thought i'd be offended if they didn't say it. the same was everyone complimented my cooking, though they didn't eat any of it.

but enought of my pessimistinc ranting. we now get to the part of the story called: "Cops Raid My House."
the title, of course, is overdramatic. what happened was that mehaik, sam, and sean sydney were sleeping over. and sean seems to have told his mom he owuld be sleeping over, but not in great detail. in fact, she was up all night worrying. and, this morning, 1t 8 when i had finally been up to four hours of sllep, i'm woekn up by powerful knocking on the door. i open it, and find adnan and a woman. i thought she was sean's mom. i was not nearly concious.
we go to the room where sean's sleeping, ans i notice a police crest on her jacket. and i think "i thought sean's mom was a teacher..."
we sean's taken home in cuffs, in the police car. and i assume i'll never see him again. but it makes a funny anecdore.
