three things that happened to me at work today:

1) i guess they were testing for the air show in august, because several times during the day jets flew noisily overhead. one time this happened was particularly loud. i looked up, realized there was no plane, and jumped.
(for the record, it's not that i'm stupid - when i saw there was no plane, i was worried a bomb had gone off. so no stupid, just paranoid.)

2) as i was selling on the docks when a woman walks by me and says "nice face." after making sure i was neither sun burned nor covered in any sort of goo, i concluded that some people are jerks.

3) i saw the UGLIEST child ever.
