In other news, my linear algebra exam was so so much better than I expected. I thought I was going to bomb it, but I was able to do almost all of it. Go team!

Daily Life Stuff
Despite my best efforts, I have found myself in an Exam Cocoon. Fortunately, I found another sucker taking Lin Alg II who is in the same boat as me, so at least I'm not alone in this cocoon. I'm starting to get really freaked out about the exams, and am even developing some stress-pimples. I mean, WTF, that's never happened before!

Music Stuff
I am going nuts waiting for the new Eisbrecher. They just posted the second single off of the new album on their website, and it was so so good.
Conversely, I am so sad about JJ72. They broke up a little while back, despite having a whole album finished and ready to go. Last night I was listening to Eye to Sky while studying, and when Formulae came on, I got off my chair and started jumping and spinning around and singing along at the top of my voice (my dad was out). Mark Greaney is so damn brilliant, and his music is just absolutely transcendent. It had that quality of "poetic logic," where the words don't really make literal sense, but they somehow come together and create this powerful emotional tidal wave. I'll miss that.

Introspective Stuff
... I miss a lot of things right now. I'm glad summer is ending, and that I won't be here to see that end. After thinking about it, I suddenly feel too near, and too hurt. I need the Atlantic Ocean and my grandma's cooking and my grandfather's eyes. And maybe then I'll be far away enough.
