last night i was kicked out of a bar, like a REAL college kid! go me!

i'm not copying you, but it reminded me of something.
one time, when i was feeling really bad about myself, like i was worthless and unloved, i sat down and wrote my name and said "vega, now you're gonna write how you really feel about yourself. i was rather surprized by the outcome.

well, since it looks like i'm the first one to get to blogging since this weekend, i suppose it is my duty to describe what happened. (although i did notice sean has a weekend-themed MSN name... good for you, buddy!)

it all began one friday night... last firday night, in fact. all the kids were back home from school, so naturally we ran away from our parents and gathered in sean's rez. *
after a bit of unpleasantness which i choose not to get into, we called jeff over and went to pizza hut.

amusing anecdote #1

mandy, sean and i ordered an Edge pizza, the kind that has no crust, and the toppings go "to the edge."
jeff and greg got a stuffed crust pizza.
since mandy, sean and i had no crust, we ate theirs.
i didn't think it was funny, but greg insists it was ironic.

so then jeff goes off to meet some people, and we're alwking down the street.

amusing anecdote #2

on the sidewalk there is a grating, and some strange steam was issuing form it. mandy decides to run through it, all carefree and frolick-some. but i say "mandy, don't, who knows what sort of chemicals are in that."
it was at that moment that i grabbed greg, and let out a high, loud scream. for you see, a horrible slime monster had grabbed me by the ankle!
or so i thought. until i looked down and saw i had stepped on a rag.
they laughed at me.
we walked on, until i looked down again and realized that that rag had actually been my sweater. i went back to get it.
they laughed at me some more.

at this point we called mitul and decided to go to her place. the rest of the evening was spent hugging.

the following day, we went to ashbridges bay where we played with frizbees and tennis balls and "shadow fucking" (disturbed look at sean) and other fun stuff.
guys, it was so nice to once more be back in mandy's car! i don't know about you, but that was something i really missed. it just doesn't feel like normal life without weekends spent in that car.

this was followed by the purchase or some undergarments**, and a movie. again, i'm so proud of you all for choosing ararat, i've never been so happy with the groups choice of movie. the secret was not letting the men have an opinion. perhaps our politicians should learn from this.

sunday i went with rek for a family dinner thing. i was kinda sad... there was chocolate cake and apple cake and jello cake and pie... and i was too full to eat any of it. -_-

and, of course, monday i payed for it all, because there was not time to do all my work.

oh, and i have the best news in the universe: MORRIS POSTPONED THE PHYSICS MIDTERM BY A WEEK!!! this has been the happiest day of my life!!! that's kinda sad, actually...
