When I woke up today it seemed like it was going to be an awful day. I turned off my alarm clock and thought: "I don't want to get up. It's cold and there are bears after me."
I managed to force myself out of bed and into the world. A big part of why I was feeling rotten was because of my physics problem set, which was due, but not done.

I got to school, and after physics I went with Patrick to the lounge/study room in McLennan. We were soon joined by Grace, Steven, and Joel (the last two of whom I had before only known by sight). We worked on our problem sets for about two hours. I know it seems strange to say, but I really enjoyed this. Talking and joking around and spending time with other physics geeks was really refreshing and invigorating.

And then it started to snow. ^_^
It's a good day after all.

Yesterday I was on the subway, examining an advertisement for the album of some character named Rihanna. The advertisement claimed that this album featured the "hit song" Pon De Replay. As I was contemplating the word "pon" (and yes, I do know what the word means, I was privy to a long discussion on the subject last Saturday), when I realized that I knew this song. I could hear it playing clearly in my head, and there it got stuck. It's still kind of there, and I'm trying to medicate the situation with KMFDM and Eisbrecher.

The thing is, this means that some part of my brain is dedicated to remembering this song. A segment that could be used for remembering a physics equation or the conjugation of a German verb is instead being used to hold the words "Come Mr. DJ song pon de replay."

Why does my brain do this to me?

In other news, the Shamzzusohha (wuzzle wazzle) family Eid party was held last weekend, and I had a wonderful time. ^_^ All of Adnan's friends are so nice, and I want to make them mine. Bwa!
