And so ends another semester at the University of Toronto. One more year to go… And then the leap into the abyss, the future, the details of which seem foggier now than ever.

My grades were pretty crappy, yet again. That puts that lofty dream of mine of a B average in jeopardy.

Maybe I can run away to Philadelphia and work for Metropolis Records? There is no wild creature inside of me, clawing at its walls, trying to get out. I have nothing much to say: I am comfortable. But I sure do love to watch it come crawling out of other people, nails bloody and rejoicing. And wouldn’t it be nice to do something, anything, to help that come to pass?

My dad’s been in Serbia for a week now, and there’s another week until he returns. There are great pros and also great cons to that. I’m able to have people over, whomever I want, until whatever hour it pleases me. On the other hand, in the hours between morning and afternoon, I find it terribly easy to be lazy. I really ought to do some cleaning, or to study German in preparation for my trip. But you know… It’s much more pleasant to listen to Diary of Dreams, eat grapes, and think about how suddenly the leaves have budded.
