i'm quite miffed with blogger. i wrote my nice long end-of-march-break thing, and it ate it! ate it and digested it and deficated satisfyingly!
let's just say i had a GREAT march break. i'm looking forward to easter ^_^

i just went to see "bowling for columbine," and it is the moze amaxing movie i have seen in a very long time. i advise everyone to see/rent/download it.
it was a documentray on the american society of guns. during the film, the director, micheal moore, dried to answer the question "why do americans kill eachother?" it's not that there are more broaken homes (britain has a higher divorce rate), it's not the violent video games (those rule japan), it's not the music (gothic rock was born in gernamy), and it's not gun availability (there are 7 million guns in canada, spread amongst 30 million people). but why are there only 300 gun related deaths in germany per year, 200 in britain, 100 in canada, and 70 in japan, but over EVELN THOUSAND in the united states?
the film also showed how to boys, who became paralyzed during the columbine shooting, convinced k-mart to stop the sales of all forms of ammunition in their stores.
it also featured a sequence during which it showed all the assacinations and civilian casualties that resulted from american foreign policiy, set to luis armstrong's "what a wonderful world." i cried during this.
