oh, one thing i neglected to mention about my adventures in U of T land...
the med sci building of one of the most hideous atrocities to ever insult god's name. it's a giant box, covered in tiny rectangular protrusions. it is the pimply-teenager of architecture.

however... there is a certain wall, half covered by ivy. the bottom is entirely green, and wavy because of those protrusions. gradually, the ivy thins, until the wall underneath is reveled. and this part of the building is lovely.
