there may one day be a personal site, but not to the extent that most sites are about me.

that was the "elforium creed." i had planned to live by it, and, if need be die by it. i had also planned to be overdramatic at all times, if possible.
but that creed can no longer carry on.

i'm terribly happy with elforium. however, the tragic truth is that i'm just not interested in the things i used to be, and i have no particular oomph in me to work on any of the things there now.

i'm perfectly willing to leave superlative and tomorrow today! as they are. the former as a testament to some things i still like (though not as passionately) and the latter as an archive of information about a book series on which it is hard to find information.
mischief will, of course, remain. as far as i know, i'll keep on writing until i'm in my funeral pyre, no matter how hard school tries to stop me.
it is the three bobs who will suffer the most, i'm afraid. i had lots of grand plans for that site, but after years of trying, i finally admit that i don't have the time or will to do anything. maybe someday, when a moment of nostalgia strikes me, i'll pick up all the old animorphs books and read them again, and write about that happy experience. but as it is, i'm gonna put up a new layout, fix broken links and stuff, and put the bobs on an indefinite hiatus.

as for elforium... as i said, i'm going to violate my former creed. i'm going to make it into a personal site. i'm gonna work on photo galleries and other silly stuff that only my friends could ever possibly care about. it sort of feels like elforium is an old friend with whom i've lost touch. and, suddenly, i want to re-kindle that relationship.

so, onward and upward!
and forever twirling towards freedom!
