Arts Alive was last night, and i had a total blast.
firstly, it was such a relief to get away from my desk, away from my books, away, away, away.
the show itself was pretty good. i especially liked "the new canadian," a hilarious play in which luis starred - i was very impressed with him.
the poetry sucked ass. i mean, who still uses rhyme? and the topics, the themes, the fairy tale construction, the "why should i bother to exist?" ew.
music was also impressive. there was one kid who did a violin solo, and he was really good. reminded me of why i want to learn to play again.
my favorite part was the sushi, of course ^_^
