big splishy splashy daaaay!!!
 
yesterday, i celebrated my half-birthday at wild water kingdom with mandy, jeff, greg, and josh. it was a very big splishy, splashy day.
it's kind of hard to describe, because it was a day full of water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, fish and chips, funnel cakes, and yucky change-room floors, in no particular order.
 
there were those who told us not to go. "it's overcast!" they said "it's gonna rain and you'll get struck by lightning and dieee!!!" but the nay-sayers were wrong. certainly, it rained. but it rained for all of ten minutes, during which we had lunch. the rest of the day was overcast, but surprisingly warm. we ended up staying there almost until the park closed.
 
overcast or not, i got sunburned. i am such a fool...
