1) Despite your complete lack of enthusiasm, I will be hitting the Toronto Fringe Festival tomorrow. My plan for the day is Real Time at 2:15, Love Songs from Unlikely Places at 5:15 and Courage (The Red Shift) at 9:30. Funding for this program was provided by my fabulously generous father. You can read descriptions of each play at the festival website, and if you want to join me, I’d be more than pleased to have you. I also intend to visit Ryerson during the day and finally learn about their journalism program. I have a sneaky suspicion they will tell me to go look at their website.

2) New VAST in October!

3) I have learned that hooker boots + downtown = bad idea. The men around these parts seem to think that sexy footwear is an invitation. I was hit on a total of four times yesterday, including :::shudder::: by a frosh who was on campus doing an orientation.

4) I made aloo gobi last night. I think it needs more spices, because it turns out that a whole head of cauliflower is a lot of vegetable. It was mostly yummy, if a bit bland, and I stopped by a local Indian restaurant and got some paratas and had a wonderful breakfast.

5) Need to get some of those store-bought frozen paratas. Those things are too good for words.

7) Course registrations for fall term are on Monday. It looks like I’ll have a very nice schedule with lots of free time. Sadly, the Tibetan Buddhism course I wanted to take has been cancelled. I don’t know if I should wait until next year and try to take it, or fill the time with something else, like a philosophy course in Marxism? I need another half-credit third year course, and it’s a bit tricky to find something that doesn’t have a prerequisite. I figure, a philosophy course, especially in something like Marxism, will be ridiculously easy, and a good way to make that requirement.
